Simply place the baked cake back into the baking tin and slice it across the top. If you want slice it across in the middle, lift the height of the cakes by just adding old cake drum or plates to the bottom of the cake tin and place the cake, and slice it across.

This extra long 19″ blade will allow you to slice up to 16″ cake at ease.
